Hot Water Boilers

What is Hot Water Boilers ?

The purpose of the Regulation on Efficiency Requirements in New Hot Water Boilers with Liquid and Gas Fuels (92/42 / AT) is to increase the efficiency in hot water boilers with a nominal output power of not less than 4 kW, or new boilers with liquid fuel, or environmental to reduce the pollution.

The purpose of the Regulation (92/42 / EC) on the Requirements of the Efficiency of New Gas and Liquid Fuel Hot Water Boilers is to increase the efficiency and decrease the environmental pollution in hot water boilers with a nominal output power of not less than 4 kW and new to 400 kW or liquid fuel. .

Solid fuel boilers and boilers that can burn different fuels, devices used in the preparation of hot water suddenly, hot water heaters for cleaning purposes are out of the scope of this regulation.

Considering the said regulation, the boiler manufacturers have to comply with the efficiency conditions at the temperature of the average boiler water, which varies depending on the type of the boiler, within a 30% partial load at the temperature of the boiler water, on average at a temperature of 70 ° C.

The suitability of the boilers produced in series is documented according to the approved declaration of conformity by looking at the C, D or E modules by examining the type of efficiency of the boiler compared to the B module. In the evaluation of the conformity of the efficiency of boilers burning gaseous fuels, evaluation procedures are used in terms of conformity mentioned in the Regulation on Gas Burning Devices (90/396 / EC).

Manufacturers make EC Type examination applications to notified bodies of their choice to certify mass produced types. Applications include the following information,

Name and addresses of the producers,

Written declaration stating that the same applications are not made to another notified body,

Technical file

The Technical File, which must be ready at the time of application, includes data on the designs, production and operations of the boilers and should include the following information according to the purpose of the assessment of suitability.

Generally, making a type definition,

Design and manufacturing drawings, diagrams of circuits with part groups

Descriptions with drawings, diagrams and definitions required for understanding the work of the boilers,

Lists of standards that are in place, explanations of the solutions adopted to meet basic requirements where such standards are not applied

Design calculations and results of examinations, reports of tests.
