What is Halal Food Certificate?

Halal Food Certificate is the certificate given to products prepared in accordance with Islamic rules. Halal Food Certificate is an “international” document issued to products that are not forbidden according to the religion of Islam.

The term HALAL FOOD in Islam is not only limited to compliance with cleanliness and hygiene quality; it also includes the compliance of foods with the Islamic rules specified in the Qur’an and Hadiths. Halal foods are foods produced in accordance with Islamic rules.

All foods are halal, except for the following types of haram:

Pig / pork and products made of them,
Animals that are cut improperly or die before slaughter,
Animals cut under any God name other than God, Alcohol and intoxicating substances,
Carnivorous animals,
hunted birds and land animals without ear,
Blood and products made of blood,
products in contact with any of the above products.

information provided on the label and satisfying the consumer,
ensuring hygiene and sanitation at production sites,
providing “ISO 22000 Food Safety” conditions in food production facilities,
knowing the basic sources of ingredients, additives participating in the products and rates must be determined.
